SUSAN K. CHAE CORCORAN, a Shareholder with the Firm, has over 25 years of complex civil and commercial litigation experience. Her specialized practice focuses primarily on construction law, premises, automobile, and civil rights litigation.
Ms. Corcoran has extensive knowledge in the workup of her cases to achieve early resolution of highly sophisticated matters. She has defended Fortune 500 corporations as well as individuals in all types of corporate, civil, and commercial cases. As a hands-on trial lawyer, Ms. Corcoran is personally engaged in all of her cases and takes pride in maintaining close contact with all of her individual and corporate clients. Throughout her career, Ms. Corcoran has obtained multiple jury defense verdicts on behalf of corporate and individual clients in construction, premises, civil rights and automobile cases.
Ms. Corcoran is licensed to practice in all Illinois counties and regularly practices in Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, McHenry, Winnebago and Stephenson counties. She is a member of the Federal Trial Bar and admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Ms. Corcoran is a graduate of the Loyola University of Chicago (B.A.) and The John Marshall Law School (J.D.). She is also involved with various charitable organizations including Infant Welfare Society, Misericordia Womens’ League of Hinsdale, Autism Speaks, Muscular Dystrophy, and St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Womens’ Charity. Ms. Corcoran is also fluent in Korean and mentors Young Lawyers.
