Diana Melstrad, an Associate with the firm, is a member of the Firm’s Workers’ Compensation group. Before joining Leahy, Eisenberg & Fraenkel, Diana worked in public relations for a higher education institution.
While working full time and pursuing her Juris Doctor part time, Diana co-founded the Weekend J.D. Law Students Association to advocate on behalf of part-time law students and served as the organization’s Communications Director. During law school, she also clerked for the Cook County Public Defender’s Office in the Homicide Task Force Unit.
Diana earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her B.A. in Communication, with a minor in Public Relations, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.
