DANA (“DONNA”) DJOKIC, an Associate with the firm, worked in-house for a major insurance company from 2006 through 2018 handling the defense of workers’ compensation claims of various complexities. She has tried many cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. Dana has a keen ability to comb through medical records and find evidence to undermine a petitioner’s case. She has won many cases with a finding of “no accident” based on this attention to detail. Dana is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Florida.
Dana is a graduate Florida Atlantic University where she received a B.A. in English with Honors. She obtained her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After completing her education in Florida in 2001, Dana moved back to her hometown in Indiana.
Dana is a member of the Workers Compensation Lawyers Association and the Serbian American Bar Association. She enjoys watching documentaries, jogging, and taking nature walks with her two dogs. Dana has a conversational proficiency in the Serbian language.
