CYNTHIA RAMIREZ, an Associate with the Firm, is a member of the Firm’s insurance coverage practice group and concentrates her practice on first and third-party liability and property coverage matters under general liability, umbrella, business auto, truckers, inland marine, homeowners and personal automobile policies. She is experienced in handling all phases of coverage litigation, including appeals, in state and federal courts. She is also experienced in obtaining court approval of settlements involving minors and decedents in probate court.
Ms. Ramirez is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Ms. Ramirez is a graduate of the University of Chicago (B.A., Public Policy) and Loyola University Chicago School of Law (J.D.). While in law school, she served as an Articles Editor for the Annals of Health Law, The Health Policy and Law Review of Loyola University Chicago and was an extern at the Cook County State’s Attorney Office, Complex Litigation Section.
Ms. Ramirez is a member of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois. She is fluent in Spanish.
